Years ago, the groom's cake was served on the wedding day, and the groom chose who would share it with him. Many times it was chocolate, because the bride's cake was not ... and it was never displayed near the bride's cake. Times have changed and form follows function! Today, a groom's cake may be served at the rehearsal dinner. It sometimes relects a nickname, a place of interest, an Alma Mater, a hobby, a special interest or a vocation. This personal theme can be whimsical, and many times it is a surprise from the bride to the groom.
