This was such a fun cake to design. It was whimsical, fun and just so creative. This cake is actually a replica of the bride's vases that she was using throughout the reception that was held at Belle Mer in Newport, RI. The cake flavor was carrot...yum!

Look at the incredible detail on this cake; just stunning!!!

In case you weren't sure; this cake was designed for a traveling themed wedding.

Red and black are such dramatic colors that work really nicely together.
This particular damask pattern is no longer available on round tier; only on square tiers. We would have to substitute a similar damask pattern to be used on round tiers. Please inquire.

Striking colors, along with the damask pattern, create a very unique and trendy look for this cake that was featured at The Dorrance in Providence, RI.
We also created the groom's cake; the robot next to the wedding cake. The entire cake is edible and it is finished in a rolled fondant. The groom made robots for a living and the bride wanted to surprise him with a small replica of what he designed.

Though unconventional, this cake is for the modern bride looking for a distinct look. There is a lot of texture, color contrast and uniqueness to this cake.

Wow...look at the intricate pattern on this wedding cake. Cakes similar in design can take an incredible amount of hours & days to complete but the end result is exquisite.

This is an interesting design for the Modern inspired.

Gradient yellow colors peek throughout the flower center. Another great option to incorporate the ombre trend.

What is not to love about this wedding cake. Sophisticated design and bold colors make this cake truly unique and dramatic.

Look at the detailing done on this cake! It is hard to see each guest was also given their own mini wedding cake to coordinate with the wedding theme. This was such a spectacular and unique presentation that was held at Astors' Beechwood Mansion in Newport, RI.

This was one of the most original cakes I think we have ever done. This is a very art-deco cake design.
-
Each strip piece is cut and placed on; one by one in order to give the cake this look. Very labor intensive. The look is quite interesting but the design is very labor intensive.

I remember this cake very well. It was probably one of the most symbolic and unique wedding cakes that we have made. It was customized by the bride, who was an architect. It barely fit in the fridge. I also remember how long it took to place the chocolate cigarettes on!!! Notice the running sneakers; that is how the couple met...running. This cake represents the trail that they ran on.

The off-set tiers provide an interesting eye appeal to this square cake.

Quite the detailing on this cake. Stunning!
A special thanks to Sara Zarella for the image.

This cake design is for the light-hearted and whimsical couples who are not afraid to express their personalities in their cake design. This fun cake was designed for the beautiful union of two loving hearts and their wedding cakes was created especially for the occasion. The design was inspired from their wedding invitation.

This was a fun cake we did for a photo shoot that was held at Meadow Brook Inn in Charlestown, RI! When I look at this cake, I get a sense of how homemade and fresh it is; just very natural. This particular cake flavor is a spice cake with a caramel butter cream filling. A great option for those who do not like frosting.

Such a trendy cake; loving the dots and colors.

Textured wedding cakes are a popular trend right now. The handmade flower completes the softness of this cake.
