This was such a fun cake to see being brought to life; although that is easy for me to say since I did not design it. These mascots took about 2 weeks to complete due to the detail elements. Our clients were extremely thrilled with the presentation...and of course...the TASTE. That is what it is all about!!!
This was a groom's cake that we designed for the Captain of the Fire Department. The event was held at Ocean Cliff Hotel & Resort in Newport, RI.
The helmet is made out of cake; as well as the bottom cake.
This cake was replicated from images that were provided to us.
These types of cakes are very labor intensive and require a great deal of skill to complete.
Well...I don't think I have ever seen this! Love how fun it is. I think this was quite the conversation piece!
Too bad you can't quite see the baseball cap the fish was sporting!!!
This was a Groom's cake that we did for a wedding that was held at the Hyatt Regency Newport. Those edible shoes were made to replicate the shoes that the groom was wearing that day. We love to make fun and personalized cakes like this one shown.
This was a pretty interesting cake to design. This lighthouse cake was designed to replicate the lighthouse that is called Castle Hill Lighthouse. It is located at Castle Hill Inn; which is located in Newport, RI. Notice how similar it is to the actual lighthouse that is shown.
Custom Cakes serve an "approximate" number of guests since they are all uniquely designed.
Sometimes a "back up" cake is needed to give you the additional servings needed.
This cake was designed from a few images that the bride to be had given us. This was based off of the truck that was owned by the groom to be.
Fun concept.
